  DepartmentsNursing Care
Nursing Care Minimize
Bethesda Home’s primary belief is that "the resident comes first". Our home is a 50 bed skilled nursing facility, providing excellent quality care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our care stems from a foundation meant to protect the residents’ dignity. The preservation of their independence is encouraged to allow each individual to reach his/her greatest capacity of self worth. All cares are provided by dedicated Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing are RNs who continually assess the cares provided. Part of the ongoing assessment involves asking residents and staff for feedback used to improve each resident’s quality of life.

To help us in our endeavor to return individuals to their highest capacity, we offer Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy programs to residents in need of such services. Bethesda Home also has a Restorative Therapy program that is open to residents 5 days a week. With our Restorative Therapy program, residents are able to exercise frequently to maintain their physical status as long as possible. We take pride in the fact that we have assisted several of our residents to return to their homes.

In addition, Bethesda Home is glad to help families assess whether or not there is a need for long term care, assisted living or congregate living. Our goal is to provide care to those in need. We are here to serve the residents and provide the highest level of Nursing care available.
